With the continuous advancements in electronics, there is an increasing demand for components that offer high reliability. Furthermore, many applications now require higher power dissipation and superior pulse withstanding capabilities in compact case sizes. To meet these evolving needs without incurring prohibitive costs and long lead times, Stackpole has developed its automotive-grade resistor family. Addressing the need for higher power pulse requirements in smaller footprints, Stackpole proudly introduces its latest offering in this product family, the RPCA-UP series in a 0603 chip size.

The RPCA-UP series 0603 chip offers an impressive 0.33W power rating, where the standard for this size is typically 0.125W. The RPCA-UP series is AEC-Q200 qualified and delivers exceptional pulse handling thanks to proprietary materials, design, and manufacturing processes. This series has demonstrated outstanding performance in all AEC-Q200 tests, improving the expected failure rate by a factor of at least 10 compared to general-purpose resistors. Additionally, the RPCA-UP series offers excellent anti-sulfur performance, passing the industry-standard ANSI/EIA-977 sulfur test with minimal resistance shift at 105°C.

Pricing for the RPCA-UP depends on size, resistance value, power rating, and tolerance.  Contact Stackpole or one of our franchised distribution partners for specific or volume pricing.
